All about the Ilha Grande + Angra dos Reis.

With more than 2,000 beaches Angra dos Reis could say that is the most idyllic setting on the coast of Rio de Janeiro.

The big island with its beaches and a crystal-clear sea is the most famous island of the 365 that surround the Bay of Angra dos Reis. Between mountains and beaches region is perfect for boating, diving, and hiking trails.

Our ride to Angra dos Reis and Ilha Grande starts in a carriage with air conditioning towards the Costa Verde. After about 2 hours we will arrive to the city of Angra dos Reis, where we will start a boat ride around the Bay of Angra dos Reis and Ilha Grande, to meet the main islands and beaches in the area.

The boat trip:

Cataguases Island: Island which has peculiar formation due to two small stretches of land caused the Serra do Mar, is one of the most beautiful islands of the Bay of Ilha Grande.
Blue Lagoon: A natural aquarium where we find one of the most beautiful diving spots on the big island. A huge pool with transparent water, whose background is a heaven of starfish, with schools of colorful fish, squid and corals. Don’t forget your bathing suit.
Ponta da Piedade: calm sea beach of clear waters, fine sand and clear, with 150 meters long is a great option for kids and seniors take a refreshing swim. At the end of the beach, in the Ponta da Piedade is located the small church of piety.
Islands Boots: also known as Twin Islands is the main postcard of the city of Angra dos Reis. Its main attractions are incredibly transparent waters and white sands. Is stopping point of the boat rides and schooner, the depth reaches 10 metres, ideal for the practice of diving.
Lunch is served on board the boat and vegetarians, we have option for you too! In addition, during the ride you can buy drinks, snacks and desserts.
